Three Ohio Field Hockey Members Named to 2025 CSC Academic All-District® At-Large Team

ATHENS, Ohio – Ohio field hockey members Anouk Plaehn, Sasha Dikotla and Bodhi Littlefield were named to the 2025 Academic All-District® At-Large Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, the organization announced.

This is the second time that Plaehn (Hanover, Germany) has earned a spot on the Academic All-District® At-Large Team. Plaehn, an International Business & Business Analytics major with a 3.989 GPA, was named First Team All-MAC at the end of last season. With a team-leading five goals and 11 points on the season, Plaehn tied for the second-most game-winning goals (4) in the Mid-American Conference. She also recorded the second-most defensive saves (4). Plaehn commanded Ohio's defense as the center back and has held opponents to the second-least penalty corners in the MAC. Plaehn played every minute for the Bobcats, leading the team with 987 minutes on the pitch and was named Academic All-MAC. 

Dikotla (Johannesburg, South Africa), a Chemical Engineering major with a 3.94 GPA, played and started all 18 games for the Bobcats. Dikotla led Ohio with six goals and one assist for a team-leading 13 points. She recorded 25 shots, with 17 on goal for .680 shots on goal percentage. She recorded 6 multi-point games, including scoring one goal and one assist against Vermont on Sept. 28. Dikotla also recorded one game-winning goal against Central Michigan and scored Ohio's goal in the MAC Tournament against Miami. Dikotla was named the AMC Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 10 and earned a spot on the Academic All-MAC Team. 

Littlefield (Oakland, Maine), an Integrated Language Arts major with a 3.767 GPA, finished her final season in Athens by being named Second Team All-MAC. Littlefield helped Ohio's offense with four goals and two assists for eight points. Her tactful skills helped Ohio to 1.375 goals per game. Littlefield started in all 18 games for the Bobcats, playing the full duration or near duration of all of those. One of Littlefield's four goals came on Nov. 1 in the regular season finale against Central Michigan, giving Littlefield a goal on her Senior Day. Littlefield was also named Academic All-MAC. 

The 2025 Academic All-District® Women's At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student- athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes at-large honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members.

NCAA and NAIA Women's At-Large Academic All-America® First-, second- and third-team honorees will be announced on Tuesday, July 8, 2025.
