YPSILANTI, Mich. – The Ohio women's track and field team concluded the MAC Indoor Championships with podium finishes in three events on Saturday, March 1, finishing in eighth place in the team ranking with a total of 38 points.
Ohio's top performance of the day was by sophomore
Ellie Greenwell (Park Hills, Ky.) in the women's 800m finals. Greenwell placed fourth with a time of 2:11.11. Freshman
Kaitlyn Stewart (Floyd Knobs, Ind.) also earned a podium finish in the event, placing eighth with a time of 2:12.32.
Juniors
Allie Martin (Kingwood, W. Va.) and
Leila Boussedra (Worthington, Ohio) earned their second podium finishes of the meet in the women's 3000 meters. Martin placed fifth (9:43.35) and Boussedra placed seventh (9:44.58). Senior
Kelsi Harris (Liberty Township) and junior
Alyssa Mason (Dublin, Ohio) also competed in the event. Harris finished ninth (9:48.00) and Mason finished 12
th (9:57.32).
Mason also raced in the finals of women's mile. She finished ninth with a time of 5:04.86.
Ohio's final podium finish occurred in the women's 4x400m relay. Senior

Jaclyn Garvey (Grand Blanc, Mich.), sophomore
Elinor Shuttleworth (Beavercreek, Ohio) and freshman
Ava Kincaid (Perrysburg, Ohio) combined for a sixth-place time of 3:53.20 in the event.
Freshman
Elisabeth Franczyk (Washington, Pa.) represented Ohio in the field events. Franczyk finished 11
th in the women's triple jump with a mark of 10.76 meters (35-3.75).
