ATHENS, Ohio— The latest Division 1 weight class rankings were released on Tuesday (Dec. 23), where four Bobcats are recognized among the best in the country at their weight class.

The Bobcats defeated Davidson and Gardner-Webb over the weekend, where redshirt seniors Sal Perrine (Northfield, Ohio) and Zayne Lehman (Akron, Ohio) improved their dual meet records to 4-0, and redshirt junior Derek Raike (Point Pleasant, W. Va.) improved his season record to 12-3.

Below are where the Bobcats are ranked according to Intermat, FloWrestling, and The Open Mat: 

• 157 lbs. – 31^st/30^th/19th: Redshirt junior Derek Raike (Point Pleasant, W. Va.)
• 174 lbs. – NR/NR/11th: Redshirt Senior Garrett Thompson (Murrysville, Pa.)
• 184 lbs. – 18^th/15^th/17th: Redshirt senior Sal Perrine (Northfield, Ohio)
• 197 lbs. – 26^th/26^th/NR: Redshirt senior Zayne Lehman (Akron, Ohio)

The Bobcats will return to the mat at the Convovation Center on Friday, January 2 to host Bloomsburg in a dual meet. Competition will start at 7 p.m. and will be streaming on ESPN+.
