Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced updated team and individual weight class rankings after six weeks of competition, with Ohio ranked seventh out of 12 teams.
Ohio moved up one spot from its preseason ranking of eighth, sitting behind SIU-Edwardsville. Rider leads the coaches' poll, followed by George Mason and Central Michigan. A look at the full team rankings is listed below:

- 141 – 10th: Freshman Abe Hermes (Milan, Ohio)
- 149 – 11th: Freshman Carson Weber (Shorewood, Ill.)
- 157 – 4th: Redshirt junior Derek Raike (Point Pleasant, W. Va.)
- 165 – 10th: Redshirt junior Jack Lledo (Penn Valley, Pa.)
- 174 – 3rd: Redshirt sophomore Jeremy Olszko (Northfield, Ohio)
- 184 – 2nd: Redshirt senior Sal Perrine (Northfield, Ohio)

Ohio wrestling will return to the mat on December 20 to take on Davidson in a dual meet, with competition starting at 1 p.m.
