ATHENS, Ohio —
The Ohio Wrestling team defeated Edinboro 26-14 Sunday afternoon in The Convo after a five-bout sweep put Ohio back into the dual.

"From 149 on up, I really, you really, really, liked." head coach Joel Greenlee said. "Those guys, went out there with some energy and scored some points. They tried to score early and often, and that's really what you want."

Redshirt sophomore Derek Raike (Point Pleasant, W. Va.) collected Ohio's first win of the afternoon on a 20-7 major decision over Colin Roberts in the 149-pound class.

With three team points in hand, redshirt sophomore Logan Cravatas (Medina, Ohio) stepped up to the mat with hopes to earn more for the Bobcats. He came back from a first period deficit to pin Ryan Michaels at 5:18 to give the Bobcats six more points for the team total. The pin was the first of Cravatas' career.

"That was a huge turning point (in the match)," Greenlee said. "I am so proud of that kid. He comes in, works his tail off everyday and has stepped in, and done an amazing job with it."

Redshirt sophomore Jack Lledo continued Ohio's streak with an 8-6 decision over Max Kirby in the 165-pound bout. The victory was Lledo's second dual win of the season.

Ohio secured back-to-back technical falls in the 174-pound and 184-pound classes. Redshirt junior Garrett Thompson (Murraysville, Pa.) collected the first, a 15-0 at 3:29, over Brody Evans. Redshirt freshman Jeremy Olszko (Northfield, Ohio) followed with a 20-3 at 4:12 over Jared McGill.

"It really was set up in the hand fight. I really felt I was stamping his head and it was just the movement that he was giving me. I really just saw myself getting my stuff and getting my offense on. I kind of wanted to work a little bit more on top, but turned out that I got it done on my feet," Olszko said.

The Bobcats' last victory of the afternoon came in the 285-pound bout. Redshirt senior Jordan Greer fended off Aden Roe for a 5-3 decision to round out the team victory.

Ohio will be back in The Convo on January 25 to take on Northern Illinois. The dual is set for 5 p.m. and can be viewed on ESPN+.
