Second Round Matchups for MAC-SBC Challenge Released

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American and Sun Belt Conferences have announced matchups for the Feb. 8 MAC-SBC Challenge for both men's and women's basketball, the leagues announced today (Jan. 13). Current NET rankings, projected season finish and previous cross-conference contests were all considered when making the pairings.
The Ohio men's basketball team will host Appalachian State on Saturday, Feb. 8. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. ET inside the Convocation Center and can be seen on ESPN+.
The Ohio women's basketball team will hit the road to Hattiesburg, Miss. on Saturday, Feb. 8 to take on Southern Miss. TIp-off is set for 3 p.m. ET inside the Reed Green Coliseum and will be seen on ESPN+.
Both teams are back in action the Convo this week starting on Tuesday, Jan. 14 when men's basketball hosts Ball State at 7 p.m., while the women play host to Bowling Green on Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 7 p.m. Both games will be seen on ESPN+.
