HIGH POINT, N.C. – The Ohio volleyball team (3-2, 0-0 MAC) fell to Mercer (5-0, SoCon) 3-0 (15-25, 19-25, 23-25) at the High Point Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 7.

Junior Anna Kharchynska (Kyiv, Ukraine) led the team with nine kills and 9.5 points. Kharchynska also recorded one block and six digs. Sophomore Kam Hunt (Sylvania, Ohio) tallied six kills, nine digs and 6.5 points.

Sophomore Kendall Hickey (Fishers, Ind.) recorded a team-high 10 digs in addition to three assists. Sophomore Emily Waddell (Zionsville, Ind.) finished the match with four kills, one block solo, two block assists and 6.0 points.

The Bobcats will be back in action when they face Loyola Marymount in the SoCal Cup I on Thursday, Sept. 12 in Los Angeles, Calif. The match is set to start at 9 PM ET.
