KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Ohio men's basketball senior guard Jaylin Hunter was named to a 2024 NABC All-District Teams. The organization announced today (March 19). Hunter earned a spot on the All-District 14 Second Team. 
 
Hunter (Manchester, Conn.) earns a spot on the All-District 14 Second Team for the first time in his career. This season, Hunter led the Bobcats with 14.0 points and 4.9 assists per game. He also averaged 4.4 rebounds, while shooting 41.7 percent from the floor and 74.4 percent from the line. In MAC play, Hunter averaged 13.2 points, 4.9 assists and 4.7 rebounds a game. Through 18 conference games, Hunter shot 44.8 percent from the field, 29.6 percent from three and 72.5 percent from the line, while also grabbing 30 steals. 
 
Hunter finished the regular season with 21 double digit scoring games, six 20-point games and led Ohio in assists in 26 games. He also finished the regular season as the MAC assists leader with 157 total assists and 5.1 on average per game, the MAC leader in assist/turnover ratio (2.4) and was named the MAC Player of the Week on Feb. 12. Hunter scored a career-high 32 points against Ball State Feb. 6, and recorded his first career double double on Nov. 18 against Detroit Mercy, the same game that he scored his 1,000th career point.
 
Hunter also earned a spot on the All-MAC Second Team and was named to the MAC All-Tournament Team after the 2024 MAC Tournament last weekend.
