WRESTLING

Three Ohio wrestlers are making their way to Kansas City, Mo. March 21-23 for the 2024 NCAA Wrestling Championships this weekend.
Redshirt sophomore
Peyten Kellar leads the way for the Bobcats. Kellar won Ohio's first individual MAC Championship since 2017 and earned the No. 7 seed at 157 pounds. He will take on CMU's No. 26 Johnny Lovett in the opening round. Redshirt sophomore
Garrett Thompson enters as the No. 12 seed at 165 pounds. The MAC runner-up will take on No. 21 Caleb Fish from Michigan State. Rounding out the NCAA qualifiers for Ohio, redshirt junior
Jordan Greer is the No. 33 seed at heavyweight and will face off against Indiana's Nick Willham, the No. 32 seed.
SWIMMING

Ohio freshman swimmer
Zita Szoke heads to Athens, Ga. this week for the 2024 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships March 20-23 at the Gabrielsen Natatorium ont he campus of the University of Georgia. While there, Szoke will compete in three events over the course of the Championships, including her qualifying race, the 100-yard freestyle, on Saturday. Each day of the event can be seen on ESPN+.
Szoke is the first Ohio swimmer to earn an invitation to the NCAA Championships since Addison Ferguson in 2014. Szoke currently holds the 35th-fastest time in the NCAA in the 100-yard freestyle, after setting the school record in the event on Sunday at the Ohio State Last Chance Qualifier, swimming a 48.30 and setting a new Ohio school record in the event.
Szoke's time in the event comes after a phenomenal first Mid-American Conference Championships last week in Athens. Szoke was named the MAC Freshman Swimmer of the Year and a spot on the All-MAC first Team.
WOMEN'S GOLF

The Ohio women's golf team is back in action at the the 2024 Bama Beach Bash. Due to weather yesterday, the event has been moved to a 36-hole event today and tomorrow.

Ohio softball (13-14,1-2 MAC) is back in action this weekend for three more MAC games March 22-23 when they head to Oxford, Ohio to take on Miami (18-6, 3-0 MAC). First pitch on Friday, March 22 is set for 5 p.m. at the Miami Softball Stadium, while the series concludes with a doubleheader on Saturday, March 23 starting at 1 p.m.
Ohio is coming off a weekend series at Ball State that saw the Bobcats take the final game of the series, 7-0 in Muncie, Ind.

Ohio baseball (7-10,3-3 MAC) is back in action for four more games this week. The Bobcats return to the diamond on Tuesday, March 19 when they head to Northern Kentucky (11-8). First pitch is set for 2 p.m. at the Bill Aker Baseball Complex and can be seen on ESPN+. Ohio then returns to MAC play March 22-24 when they head to Mount Pleasant, Mich. for a three-game series with Central Michigan (4-16, 1-5 MAC. The series begins on Friday, March 22 at 3 p.m., with game two set for Saturday, March 23 at 1 p.m. The series concludes on Sunday, March 24 at 12 p.m. All three games will take place at Keilitz Field at Theunissen Stadium and be streamed on the CMU website.
Ohio is coming off a series win against Kent State, taking the first to games of the series, including a 10-9 walk-off win on Saturday.
