COLUMBUS, Ohio – Members of the Ohio swim team concluded the 2024 Ohio State Winter Invite on Sunday (Feb. 18) Inside McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion.
In the 100-yard freestyle, freshman Emma Lykins (Lexington, Ky.) placed seventh in the 'A' final with a time of 52.61, while sophomore Alexandra Wayner (Savannah, Ga.) finished ninth in 53.30. Freshman Emma Forbes (Littleton, Colo.) placed 13th in the 'B' final, touching in with a time of 55.44.
In the 200-yard butterfly, freshman Isabella Arbaugh (Ann Arbor, Mich.) placed sixth with a time of 2:05.16, while freshman Elizabeth Bawolek (South Elgin, Ill.) finished eighth in 2:07.70.
Up next, the Bobcats begin postseason competition Feb. 29-March 2 when Ohio hosts the 2024 Mid-American Conference Championships. The four-day event will take place in Athens at the Ohio University Aquatic Center. Fans can look to purchases session passes here.
