ATHENS, Ohio -- The Ohio men's basketball team (2-5) returns to Athens after two weeks on the road to wrap up the first month of the season on Saturday, Nov. 30 when the Bobcats host Robert Morris (6-2). Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. inside the Convocation Center. The game can be seen on ESPN+ where Marty Bannister and Dave Cecutti will have the call. 

The Bobcats' matchup can also be heard on the Ohio Sports Network from Learfield, presented by Holzer Health System. Jason Toy begins his first season on the mic for the Bobcats, and will be joined by Ohio alum Rob Cornelius, who has been a part of the broadcasts for two decades. WXTQ (Power 105) in Athens returns as the 11-station network's flagship.

• The Bobcats signed three new members during the early signing period, adding Jordan Fisher, JJ Kelly and Zay Mosley to the roster for the 2025-26 season. 

SCOUTING ROBERT MORRIS
Robert Morris enters the matchup with the Bobcats with a 6-2 record after defeating Canisius, 72-64, Wednesday evening for their sixth-straight win. 

Robert Morris averages 72.0 points a game, while shooting .411 from the field, .316 from three and .750 from the line, while opponents are averaging 65.6 points per game, while shooting .408 from the field, .301 from three and .691 from the line. 

RMU averages 42.3 rebounds, 12.6 assists, 5.1 steals and 4.6 blocks a game, while forcing 11.9 turnovers a game. Meanwhile, RMU opponents average 31.8 rebounds, 11.3 assists, 7.6 steals and 3.3 blocks a game, while forcing Robert Morris to turn the ball over an average of 14.1 times a contest.

A PERFORMANCE FOR THE AGES
Senior forward AJ Clayton put on a career performance on Friday, Nov. 22 against Portland. Clayton scored a career-high 34 points, going 13-of-26 from eh field, 6-of-14 from three and grabbed a career-high tying 12 rebounds in the 85-73 victory. 

ASSIST MACHINE
At the 2024 Myrtle Beach Invite, Jackson Paveletzke recorded 23 assists in three game, recording a new MBI assists record, surpassing the 22 set by Villanova's Collin Gillespie in 2019. 

Paveletzke has recorded two-straight double doubles with points and assists. The last Bobcat to record back-to-back double doubles with points and assists was Jason Preston (1/19/21 & 1/23/21). 

MAC POW
AJ Clayton was named the MAC Co-Player of the Week on Nov. 25 for his performance at the 2024 MBI. 

Clayton averaged 23.3 points and 9.3 rebounds a game. He also averaged 1.0 blocks, 1.0 steals and 1.6 assists per game. Clayton went 25-of-56 from the field (.446), 11-of-35 (.314) from three and 9-of-13 (.691) from the line. Clayton also earned a spot on the MBI All-Tournament Team.
