ATHENS, Ohio -- The Ohio women's soccer team added five student-athletes during the early signing period head coach Aaron Rodgers announced on Wednesday (Nov. 13). Kiley Bruce, Mackenzie Mensel, Noelle Miriello, Paige Taylor and Bella Wyatt will join the Bobcats in 2025.
Kiley Bruce
Bruce comes to Ohio from Lebanon High School where she was a three-year letter winner. She recorded 44 goals over her career, including a league-leading 18 in 2023. Bruce helped the Warriors to their first district title since 2007 during the 2024 season. She played club soccer for Ohio Elite ECNL.
A native of Lebanon, Ohio, Bruce is also involved in the Key Club. She is the daughter of Steve and Ashley Hannegan, and Andrew Bruce. She has one brother, Boston, and two sisters, Addison and Gabby. Outside of soccer, Bruce enjoys fishing and spending time with friends and family. She is undecided about her major and future plans.
Mackenzie Mensel
Mensel is a three-year letterwinner at Westerville Central High School. She recorded 25 goals, five assists and 55 points in her senior season to earn First-Team All-OCC honors, team MVP and Golden Boot honors. She plays club soccer for Ohio Premier ECNL.
She is the daughter of Jodie and Nate Mensel of Westerville, Ohio. She has one sister, Rylee, who is a current member of Ohio's team, and one brother, Reese. Her mother played soccer at Ohio State and her father at Heidelberg. When she's not playing soccer, Mensel can be found volunteering with the National Honors Society, hiking with her dog, Maddox, watching the sunset or spending time with loved ones. She plans to study nursing with hopes of starting a career in anesthesiology.
Noelle Miriello
A native of New Albany, Ohio, Mirello helped the New Albany High School girls soccer team to a state final four appearance in 2021. She earned four varsity letters and a First-Team All-OCC nomination in 2024. At New Albany, Mirello is the president of the Pickleball Club, member of the Future Medical Professionals and Global Scholars.
Mirello is the daughter of Jennifer and Marc Mirello, and she has one brother, Gavin. Her hobbies include pickleball, baking and watching Manchester City F.C. She plans to study on the pre-med track at Ohio with the goal of becoming an orthopedic surgeon in the future.
Paige Taylor
Taylor has experience at both the high school and club level with Hilliard Bradley High School and Ohio Premier. With Ohio Premier, she made it to the 2023 Champions League and 2024 North American Cup. She is a 4.0 student at Hilliard Bradley and is a class cabinet member, as well as National Honors Society.
She is the daughter of two Ohio University alumni, Kelli and Troy Taylor. She has one sister, Maddy. Outside of soccer, she enjoys hiking, traveling, running and spending time with her family. A native of Hilliard, Ohio, Taylor intends to study exercise science and continue her education to become a physician's assistant or physical therapist in the future.
Bella Wyatt
Wyatt is a two time All-State and three time All-Conference and All-County honoree from Noblesville High School in Noblesville, Indiana. Her single-season goals against average of 0.257 is the lowest in IHSAA history and her 0.427 GAA is the second lowest in IHSAA history. Her performance helped her team earn three-straight state championships from 2022 to 2024. Wyatt played club soccer for Indy Eleven Academy.
She is the daughter of Jeff and Shayna Wyatt. She has one brother, Chase, and one sister, Morgan. Wyatt is also involved in Students Against Cancer, Serve Noblesville, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and is a Student Athletic Trainer at her school. Her hobbies include wake surfing, playing pickleball and spending time with loved ones. She plans to study nursing at Ohio to become a CRNA and work in the medical field.
