ATHENS, Ohio – The Ohio swimming and diving team has released its 2023-24 season schedule, head coach
Mason Norman announced today (July 25). The schedule is highlighted by the 2024 Mid-American Conference Championships that will be hosted by the Bobcats in Athens, Ohio at the Ohio University Aquatic Center.
The Bobcats open the season on Friday, Sept. 29 with the annual Green and White Scrimmage. The event will begin at 5 p.m. at the Aquatic Center. Ohio begins the regular season Oct. 13-14 when they host Illinois State in the Aquatic Center.
Ohio hits the road to St. George Utah, Oct. 19-21 when they compete against Utah State, Vanderbilt, Illinois and Washington State. The Bobcats then head to Bowling Green, Ohio Oct. 28 for the first MAC matchup of the season when they battle it out with Bowling Green.
Ohio is back in Athens, Nov. 4 when they compete against defending MAC Champion, Akron. The meet is set to begin at 11 a.m. inside the Aquatic Center.
Ohio then heads to Columbus, Ohio Nov. 16-18 for the 2023 Ohio State Invite. Then Nov. 29-Dec. 2, a select few will head to Greensboro, N.C. for the 2023 Toyota US Open.
The Bobcats begin 2024 when a home meet with Marshall on Friday, Jan. 5, with the meet scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. inside the Aquatic Center. After the Buffalo Diving Invite Jan. 12-Jan. 14, the Ohio swimming squad heads back to Buffalo, Jan. 20 for a dual meet with the Bulls.
The Bobcats conclude the regular season home schedule on Saturday, Jan. 27 when the Bobcats host Ball State on Senior Day. The meet is set to begin at 2 p.m. inside the Aquatic Center.
Ohio concludes the regular season Feb. 16-18 at the 2024 Ohio State Winter Invite in Columbus Ohio.
The Bobcats' postseason begins Feb. 28-March 2 when Ohio hosts the 2024 Mid-American Conference Championships. The four-day event will take place in Athens, Ohio at the Aquatic Center.
This year, the 2024 CSCAA National Invitational Championships will take place in Ocala, Fla. March 14-16 and the 2024 NCAA Championships takes place March 20-23 in Athens, Ga.
