2023 Schedule
CLEVELAND— The Ohio football team announced selected game times and television selections for its 2023 regular season schedule today (May 31) in conjunction with the Mid-American Conference office.
Ohio's 2023 schedule includes two non-conference nationally televised game: Saturday, Aug. 26 at San Diego State at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT and Saturday, Sept. 16 vs. Iowa State at noon ET. The conference slate includes three primetime nationally televised matchups. The Bobcats travel to Buffalo, N.Y. on Tuesday, Nov. 7 to take on Buffalo at 7 or 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2, ESPNU or CBSSN. The following week, they host Central Michigan at Frank Solich Field at Peden Stadium at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2 or ESPNU. Ohio will close the regular season in Akron, Ohio when they face off against Akron at noon on Friday, Nov. 24 on ESPNU or CBSSN.

Ohio finished the 2022 season 10-4 overall, 7-1 against MAC opponents and 6-0 at home. They wrapped up their record-setting performance with a 30-27 overtime victory against Wyoming in the Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl (Dec. 30). The 2022 season marks the Bobcats' first 10-win season since 2011 and the fourth in program history.

Kurtis Rourke (Oakville, Ontario, Canada) Offensive Player of the Year honors as well as the Vern Smith Leadership Award and redshirt sophomore running back
Sieh Bangura (Bowie, Md.) Bangura MAC Freshman of the Year accolades. Albin is set to return for his third season as the Bobcats' head coach in 2023.
