AKRON, Ohio— Highlighted by multiple podium finishes for fifth year
Stephanie Pierce and a triple jump personal record by junior
Emily McKenzie, the Ohio track & field team wrapped up the third and final day of the Mid-American Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships, hosted by the Akron Zips. As a team, Ohio scored 28 points.
Pierce (Fairborn, Ohio) reached the podium twice today. First, she finished fifth in the 1500 meter run, clocking in with a time of 4:28.32. Pierce also ran in 800 meter race, crossing the finish line at 2:10.77 for a fourth place finish. McKenzie (Dillsburg, Pa.) surpassed her previous personal record in the triple jump, finishing with an 11.85 meter jump.
Sophomore
Theresa Hagey (Akron, Ohio) competed in the 5,000 meter race, finishing fifth with a time of 16:45.36. Freshman

Kelsi Harris (Liberty Township, Ohio) and fifth year
Madelyn Bartolone (Massillon, Ohio) also represented the Bobcats in the 5,000 meter race, crossing the finish line at 17:10.02, 17:16.30 and 17:57.04.

Autumn Mohan (Chillicothe, Ohio) recorded another podium finish, this time in discus. With a 44.83 meter throw, Mohan finished sixth. Junior
Jordan Baith (Seville, Ohio) and sophomore
Millie Ryan (Vincent, Ohio) also competed, finishing with 38.31 and 37.23 meter throws, respectively.

Taniah Stephens (Eerie, Pa.) represented the Bobcats in the 4x100 meter relay, crossing the finish line at 47.52.

Imani Brown (Crown Point, Ind.) represented the Bobcats in the high jump. She recorded a 1.59 meter jump. Brown, Pierce, Stephens and freshman
Sophie Besett (Twinsburg, Ohio) represented the Bobcats in the 4x400 meter relay, finishing with a time of 3:53.53.
