MORGANTOWN, W. Va.— The Ohio wrestling team (2-1, 2-0 MAC) took on the West Virginia Mountaineers today (Jan. 6), falling 28-9.

Peyten Kellar (Cutler, Ohio), continues to dominate, securing Ohio's first victory of the night with an 8-6 decision at 157 pounds. Sophomore
Sal Perrine (Northfield, Ohio) won a hard-fought dual at 174 pounds, extending into overtime before clinching a 3-1 decision. At 197 pounds, redshirt junior
Carson Brewer (Avon, Ind.) held his opponent to just one point, winning the bout with a 6-1 decision.
Up next, the Bobcats travel to Hampton, Va. from Jan. 13-14 for the Virginia Duals. They return to Athens the following weekend, hosting Northern Illinois (Jan. 20) and Cleveland State (Jan. 22).
