ATHENS, Ohio—The Ohio wrestling team (3-7, 3-2 MAC) fell to the Central Michigan Chippewas (4-8, 3-1 MAC) at the Convocation Center Sunday afternoon (Jan. 29), 21-12. 
 
Both redshirt junior 
Oscar Sanchez (Genoa, Ohio) and graduate student 
Kyran Hagan (Eureka, Mo.) won their matches in overtime, with Sanchez taking a 2-1 sudden victory at 125 pounds and Hagan winning with a 2-0 sudden victory at 141 pounds.  
 
At 184 pounds, sophomore 
Zayne Lehman (Akron, Ohio) fought for a 4-3 decision, coming back with a takedown in the final minute. Redshirt junior 
Carson Brewer (Avon, Ind.) won at 197 pounds with a 3-1 decision. 
 
Up next, the Bobcats return to action on Friday, Feb. 3 when they host Kent State at 7 p.m. on senior night. The match can be viewed on ESPN+.
