ATHENS, Ohio -- Ohio soccer Freshman Scout Murray, (Chicago, IL.) was named the Mid-American Conference Offensive Player of the Week for her performance on September 4th, the league announced today (Sept 6). 

Freshman Scout Murray had an incredible week on the field, scoring 2 goals and having 2 assists. She saw the most minutes this week compared to her prior weeks as a Bobcat, proving to be a solid offensive player and an asset on the field. Along with her goal execution, Murray showed off her ability to provide and set up her teammates with great opportunities at net with her two assists. Ultimately, Murray is a well-rounded forward and her value this week on and off the field has been extremely impactful for the Ohio Bobcats in their second straight win of the season.

Ohio is back in action on Thursday, Septemebr 8 on the road against Northern Kentucky. First touch is set for 1 p.m.
