ATHENS, Ohio -- After a 7-0 first weekend in September, Ohio Athletics is back in action this week looking to build on that momentum. See what's ahead for the Bobcats in this week's Paw Prints. 

FOOTBALL
Sept. 10  / at Penn State / Beaver Stadium / University Park, Pa. / 12 p.m. / ABC / Watch / Live Stats / Audio / Notes  

The Ohio football team (1-0) hits the road for the first time during the 2022 season to take on Penn State (1-0). Kickoff is set for 12:00 p.m. at Beaver Stadium. The game can be seen on ABC.
 
The Bobcats' matchup can also be heard on the Ohio Sports Network from Learfield. Russ Eisenstein returns for his 15th season as the "Voice of the Bobcats" and will be joined by Ohio alum Rob Cornelius, who has been a part of the broadcasts for two decades.

The Bobcats are coming off a thrilling 41-38 victory over FAU in the season opener on Saturday. Redshirt junior quarterback Kurtis Rourke also broke multiple personal records, setting two career highs. The redshirt junior hit 345 passing yards, surpassing his 308 yard record and threw four touchdown passes, beating his previous record of three. Overall, Rourke was 27-for-34 in the air. On the ground, he net 11 yards on 14 rushing attempts with one touchdown, putting him at five total.

SOCCER

After setting a program record with 11 goals on Sunday, the Ohio soccer team (2-1-1) returns to action on Thursday, Sept. 8 when they head to Highland Heights Kentucky for a matchup with Northern Kentucky. First touch is set for 7 p.m. at the NKU Soccer Stadium.

After a three match sweep in New Orleans last weekend, the Ohio volleyball squad (3-2) finally return to the Convocation Center for the 2022 Bobcat Invitational Sept. 9-10. The Bobcats open competition on Friday night when the Bobcats host Bradley at 7 p.m. Ohio is back in action on Saturday for two matches starting at 12:30 p.m. when they take on Loyola (Md.), before concluding the event with Tennessee Tech at 7 p.m.

After closing out the weekend with a thrilling 1-0 victory over Davidson on Sunday, the Ohio field hockey team (3-0) is back in action on Sunday, Sept. 11 when they head to Towson. First touch is set for Noon ET at the TU Field Hockey Complex in Towson, Md. 

The Bobcats 3-0 start is currently the best start since 2011, when the Bobcats opened the season 6-0.
