ATHENS, Ohio – The Ohio swimming a diving squad opens its 2022-23 season this weekend when they head to Christiansburg, Va. for a tri-meet against Virginia Tech and George Washington. Competition is scheduled to start on Saturday, Oct. 1 at 11 a.m. at the Christiansburg Aquatic Center.

Head coach
Mason Norman returns for his fourth season leading the Bobcats, looking to build upon their fourth-place finish at last year's Mid-American Conference Championships.
Ohio also returns three All-MAC competitors in seniors
Emma Fortman (Madeira, Ohio) and
McKenzie Grau (Mason, Ohio) and junior
Gabrielle Brust (Granville, Ohio). Also returning for the Bobcats is junior
Caroline Dunigan (Lansdale, Pa.), sophomores
Edie Sawyer (Cranberry Township, Pa.) and
Julia Strine (Shippensburg, Pa.), juniors
Morgan Croaning (Carmel, Ind.),
Peyton Farrell (Beavercreek, Ohio),
Gabrielle Loring (Hudson, Ohio) and
Meg Voigt (Bryan, Ohio) and senior
Madeline Marks (Bentonville, Ark.).
Ohio also welcomes 10 freshmen to the roster for the start of the season.
On the boards, seniors
Sienna Breton (Cheshire, Conn.) and
Halli Siwik (Fishers, Ind.) both return for the Bobcats. Both represented Ohio at the 2022 NCAA Zone C Diving Championships last spring.
Following Ohio's trip to Virginia, the Bobcats return to Athens Oct. 14-15 for the 2022 Ohio Invitational where Ohio will host Wingate, Findlay and Bellarmine for the two-day event at the Aquatic Center.
