ATHENS, Ohio – The Ohio swimming and diving team has been named one of the 731 teams to the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team for the Spring 2022 semester. Teams were selected based on their Spring 2022 grade point averages. Meanwhile, junior
Sienna Breton and sophomore
Gabrielle Brust were named to the Scholar All-American Team.
CSCAA Executive Director had this to say about Ohio, "Coach Norman has done a great job leading this team to academic success."
Both Breton (Cheshire, Conn.) and Brust (Granville, Ohio) were named to the Scholar All-American Second Team. Second-Team selections also earned a 3.50 GPA or higher and achieved a "B" time standard for the national championship or participated at a diving zone qualification meet.
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
