YPSILANTI, Mich.— The Ohio baseball team (16-16, 10-10 MAC) fell to Eastern Michigan (14-19, 10-10) today, 3-1.
The Eagles struck first, scoring one run off a line-out in the bottom of the first. Senior starting pitcher
Brenden Roder (Sioux City, Iowa) went on the pitch four scoreless innings, holding Eastern Michigan to a 1-0 lead until the sixth.
Junior
Alex Finney (Oxford, Mich.) tied the game in the top of the sixth, driving in senior
Colin Kasperbauer (Sioux City, Iowa) with a fielder's choice. In the bottom of the inning, Eastern Michigan reclaimed the lead with a two-run home run. Unable to bounce back, the Bobcats fell, 3-1.
Individually, fifth year
Spencer Harbert (Middletown, Del.) went 1-for-2 with a double and a walk. On the mound, Roder threw 67 pitches in six innings, drawing 12 ground outs.
