ATHENS, Ohio -- The Ohio swimming and diving squad heads to Bowling Green, Ohio Wednesday, Feb. 23-Saturday, Feb. 26 to participate in the 2022 Mid-American Conference Championships. The four-day event will take place at the Student Recreation Center Cooper Pool, on the campus of Bowling Green. The evening sessions on Thursday, Friday and Saturday will be streamed on ESPN+. 

Day one finals events will start at 6:30 p.m. with the 200 medley relay, followed by the 800 freestyle relay. 

On Thursday, preliminary events will begin at 10:30 a.m., with championship events set to start at 6:30 p.m. The Bobcats will compete in the 500 free, the 200-yard IM, 50 free, 200 free relay and the 1-meter diving event. 

Ohio is back in action on Friday at 10:30 a.m. for that day's prelims, with events finals set for 6:30 p.m. with champions crowned in the 100 fly, 400 IM, 200 free, 100 breaststroke, 100 back and the 400 medley relay. 

The final day of competition starts on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. with another morning of prelim action. Finals will start at 6:40 p.m. with the 1650 free. Following the distance race, champions will be crowned in the 200 back, 100 free, 200 breaststroke, 200 fly, 3-meter dive and the 400 free relay. 

Following the day's event, Championship awards will be awarded once competition is complete.
