ATHENS, Ohio – The Ohio women's basketball team (2-7, 0-0 MAC) will stay at home to play in the Convocation Center (Dec. 18), facing the University of Tennessee Chattanooga (7-5, 0-0 SoCon). This matchup will tipoff at 1 pm on Sunday and will be on ESPN+.

The winning streak came to an end for the Mocs as they faced two SEC teams back to back: Alabama (52-61), and Tennessee (39-69). Chattanooga's most recent matchup was a on Thursday (12/15) against North Alabama, which resulted in a victory (55-44).
SCOUTING THE MOCS
In Chattanooga's last game, sophomore guard, Sigrun Olafsdottir scored a season-high of 10 points which included two 3-pointers and Abbey Cornelius became the 30th member of the Mocs 1,000-Point Club. Abbey is tied for 27th all-time with 1,014 career points and has accumulated 766 career rebounds. Raven Thompson also proved to be a key player, leading the Mocs with 18 points.

In terms of rebounding, the Mocs have several standouts, but it is Raven Thompson who holds the lead with 96; 63 defensive and 33 offensive reboubds.
