ATHENS, Ohio – Four members of the Ohio women's basketball team have been named to the 2025-26 Women's Basketball Academic All-District Team, selected by the College Sports Communicators, on Tuesday, March 24. The four student-athletes include graduate student
Elli Garnett (Lakewood, Colo.), redshirt sophomore
Bella Ranallo (Lake Forest, Ill.), junior
Bailey Tabeling (Seymour, Ind.) and redshirt sophomore
Monica Williams (Indianapolis, Ind.).
Tabeling was also selected as a CSC Academic All-America finalist and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. Academic All-America honoree will be announced on April 15.
The 2025-26 CSC Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Basketball Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. In order to be selected, student-athletes must have at least a .350 cumulative GPA in addition to competing in 90.0 percent or starting in at least 66.0 percent of games this season.
Elli Garnett | Gr. | Management
With a current GPA 4.00 at Ohio, Garnett is set to earn her master's degree in Management this spring. The graduate student played and started in 30 games, averaging 22.8 minutes per game this season. Garnett averaged 8.5 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game. She also tallied 31 steals and nine blocks.
Bella Ranallo | R-So. | Psychology
Ranallo has a GPA of 3.952 at Ohio and is working towards her bachelor's degree in Psychology. The redshirt sophomore played and started in 29 games, averaging 25.0 minutes per game this season. Ranallo averaged 11.2 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game in addition to compiling 56 steals and one block.
Bailey Tabeling | Jr. | Sport Management
Tabeling has a GPA of 3.524 and is working towards her bachelor's degree in Sport Management. The junior started and played in 32 games, averaging 30.7 minutes per game this season. Tabeling averaged 14.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.1 assists in addition to 73 steals and 17 blocks. She was also named to the All-MAC Second Team and earned MAC Scholar-Athlete of the Week honors earlier this season.
Monica Williams | R-So. | Interior Architecture
Williams has a GPA of 3.589 and is working towards her bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture. The redshirt sophomore has played in 31 games, making three starts and averaging 19.4 minutes per game. Williams averaged 7.4 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game. She also tallied 40 steals and seven blocks.
