ATHENS, Ohio - For the first time since 2022, the Ohio women's basketball team (18-13, 11-7 MAC) earned an at-large bid to the Women's Basketball National Invitation Tournament (WNIT). The Bobcats will host UMBC (16-14, 10-6 America East) in the first round on Thursday, March 19, at 7:00 p.m., inside the Convocation Center.

Various ticket options are available for the first-round contest, including courtside, reserved (sections 1-4) and general admission. Tickets can be purchased through the Ohio Athletics Ticket Office or by calling (740) 593-1300. Group tickets are on sale for $3.

The Rohr Room will be accessible during Thursday's game for Ohio Bobcat Club members at the captain level ($1,000+). Season tickets do not include postseason games, all fans must purchase a ticket to Thursday night's game.

In the field of 48 teams, Ohio is the only women's program representing the Mid-American Conference. This is Ohio's first WNIT appearance since the 2021-22 season, when they were defeated on the road by South Dakota State 87-57.
