CLEVELAND – The Ohio football program's sixth year safety Alvin Floyd (North Miami Beach, Fla.) was named MAC East Defensive Player of the Week after his performance during Tuesday's game against Ball State.Â
Floyd led the Bobcats' defense in their 32-18 victory over Ball State last Tuesday. He finished the game with five solo tackles and seven assisted tackles as well as the only interception. Floyd also registered 0.5 tackles for loss and one pass breakup.Â
The Bobcats return to action tomorrow, Tuesday, Nov. 22 when they host Bowling Green for the final game of the regular season. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. and can be seen on ESPNU.Â
