ATHENS, Ohio -- The fourth-seeded Ohio women's soccer team (10-6-2) will take on the fifth-seeded Miami Redhawks (8-4-6) this Sunday (Oct. 30), in the first round of the Mid-American-Conference Tournament. The game is scheduled for 1pm and will be played at home on Chessa Field. Ohio played Miami earlier this season (Sept. 29), and the game ended in a 2-0 Bobcat win. Since then Miami has gone on to tie No.1 Buffalo (0-0) and No.2 Ball State (2-2).
Below is how the MAC Championship Tournament will be organized:
Quarterfinals | Sunday, October 30 | (at campus sites/higher seed)
Game 1 -- No. 5 Miami at No. 4 Ohio, 1 pm ET
Game 2 -- No. 6 Western Michigan at No. 3 Bowling Green, 1 pm ET
Semifinals | Thursday, November 3 | Location: Buffalo, N.Y.
Game 3 -- No. 1 Buffalo vs. Game 1 Winner, 5 pm ET
Game 4 -- No. 2 Ball State vs. Game 2 Winner, 7:30 pm ET
Championship | Sunday, November 6 | Location: BUFFALO, N.Y.
Game 5 -- Game 3 Winner vs. Game 4 Winner, 1 pm ET
UP NEXT
With a win, the Bobcats will take on No.1 Buffalo on Thursday, Nov 3. The game will be played in Buffalo, N.Y. with kick-off set for 5pm.
