ATHENS, Ohio— The Ohio wrestling team returned to action tonight (Jan. 4) against Indiana University. Due to COVID-19 protocols, the Bobcats were unable to compete at 157, 174, 197 or 285 pounds. There was no team score.

Redshirt sophomore Oscar Sanchez (Genoa, Ohio) kicked things off with a 4-3 decision victory at 125 pounds. Redshirt seniors Kyran and Alec Hagan (Eureka, Mo.) defeated brothers Cayden and Graham Rooks at 141 and 149 pounds with 6-2 and 5-2 victories by decision, respectively.

At 165 pounds, redshirt sophomore Sean O'Dwyer (Chagrin Falls, Ohio) snagged a 7-4 decision victory. In in an extra match at 184 pounds, senior Logan Stanley (Fredricksburg, Ohio) pinned his opponent at 4:24.
