ATHENS, Ohio – After a month on the road, the Ohio Volleyball team returned to Athens to open Mid-American Conference play, completing the three-set sweep of Toledo (25-14, 26-24, 25-19) Friday evening at the Convocation Center.
"It's great being home," head coach
Geoff Carlston said. "Toledo's a really great team and had a great preseason. To be here, in front of our own fans and to play like we played, especially in the second set. We had a pretty good lead and to be able to grind through that was cool. It was an emotional win. It's been a heck of a month and I'm excited and proud of them."

The Bobcats and Rockets went wire-to-wire during the second set, prevailing 26-24. Ohio went on to dominat the third set, 25-19 to seal the win.
