BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- The Ohio volleyball team fell to WKU in three sets, (19-25, 16-25, 19-25), on Friday (Sept. 17) at Diddle Arena.
The Bobcats were outshined by the Hilltoppers both offensively and defensively. Ohio hit .111 to WKU's .361 and recorded 23 errors to their nine.
Junior middle blocker
Caitlin O'Farrell (Suwannee, Ga.) tallied nine kills and achieved a hitting percentage of .429. Fifth year opposite hitter
Maggie Nedoma (Brook Park, Ohio) also reached nine kills, while freshman outside hitter
Caroline Clippard (Cincinnati, Ohio) had nine. Sophomore setter
Tria McLean (Battle Creek, Neb.) registered 28 assists and sophomore libero/defensive specialist
Maci Watrous (Coppell, Texas) made 10 digs.
Tomorrow (Sept. 18), Ohio will face Lipscomb at 11:30 A.M. EST and Austin Peay at 4:30 P.M. EST to conclude their time at the WKU Invitational.
