
Park Earns All-Region Honors

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The Ohio men's and women's cross country teams competed at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships on Friday (Nov. 12) at the University of Evansville. The women ran a 6k and finished 16th out of 31 teams while the men finished 15th of 30 in the 10k.
In a competitive race, senior Madelyn Bartolone (Massillon, Ohio) came in first for the Bobcats with a time of 21:33.5 and placing 75th. Graduate student Hailey Bowes (Arlington Heights, Ill.) followed right behind, coming in at 21:34.1 and finishing 76th. The places and times of the runners that contributed to the team's score are as followed:

For the men's 10k, graduate student Josh Park (Amherst, Ohio) received All-Region honors with a 24th place finish and a time of 30:20.6. Other notable finishes came from junior Michael Tonkovich (Athens, Ohio) and graduate student Seth Gard (Eaton, Ohio). Tonkovich came in 59th, clocking a time of 31:12.1, while Gard finished 63rd with a time of 31:13.5. The places and times of the runners that contributed to the team's score are as followed:
