Box Score ATHENS, Ohio – The Ohio volleyball team picked up their second conference win on Saturday (Oct. 9) against Central Michigan. The Bobcats defeated the Chippewas, 3-2 (25-19, 19-25, 25-22, 23-25, 15-10), in the Convocation Center to conclude their weekend at home.
Despite being down early in the first, Ohio worked their way back and pocketed the set. Success struck again for the Bobcats in the third set, but Ohio had to go to set five after a 23-25 loss in the fourth. After six ties, the Bobcats took charge and went on a five-point run to secure the match.
Ohio hit .215 to CMU's .163. The Bobcats recorded 59 on 163 attempts, while the Chippewas tallied 54 kills on 172 attempts.

Caitlin O'Farrell (Suwanee, Ga.) put up six blocks and achieved 14 kills along with freshman outside hitter
Caroline Clippard (Cincinnati, Ohio). Sophomore setter
Tria McLean (Battle Creek, Neb.) registered 38 assists, while sophomore libero/defensive specialist
Sam Steele (Omaha, Neb.) added 29 digs for Ohio.
Up next, the Bobcats will travel to Buffalo where they will face the Bulls on Oct. 15 and Oct. 16. The matches will begin at 6 P.M. and 4 P.M. EST.
