Senior RHP Kenny Ogg (Indianapolis, Ind.) fell to 3-8 after allowing seven earned runs in 5.0 innings. Freshman RHP Braxton Kelly (Ulysses, Ky.) tossed 3.0 innings of shutout baseball to end the game and struck out three batters while allowing just one runner to reach base.

WMU took the lead in the first inning with two runs. Blake Dunn scored on a wild pitch to go up 1-0 and Nate Grys hit a solo home run to center field.

Levy cut the Broncos lead to 2-1 when he hit a single up the middle that scored redshirt junior OF Ryan Sargent (Algonquin, Ill.).
