Oxford, Ohio-- The Ohio field hockey team (4-11, 2-4) fell to host Miami (13-6, 6-0) 5-0 in the last regular season match at the Miami Field Hockey Complex.

The Bobcats put up one shot in the first half compared to the RedHawks 17. Miami would strike hard and score four goals in the first half. The RedHawks in the second half extended their advantage to 5-0 in the first minute of the second half when junior midfielder Lexi Silver took a turn around shot, with assist coming from senior midfielder/forward Paula Portugal

Senior goalkeeper Alex Pennington (Easton, Pa.) made nine saves for the Bobcats in 70 minutes of work.

UP NEXT

The Bobcats will return to play in the MAC Tournament as the No.5 seed to play against No.4 seed Ball State, Thursday (Nov.1) at 10:30 AM. The match will be played in Oxford, Ohio at the Miami Field Hockey Complex.
