The Short Story: In its final tune-up before this year's Mid-American Conference Tournament, the Ohio women's basketball team defeated rival Miami (9-20, 3-15), 77-58, in the `Battle of the Bricks. Ohio finished the regular season 24-5 and 16-2 in the MAC.

How It Happened:
- Ohio opened the game with two made free throws from Quiera Lampkins.
-The Bobcats then went on a 12-2 run over the opening six minutes of the game.
- Ohio led by as many as 17 points at the end of the first quarter and held Miami to only seven points.
- The Bobcats finished the first quarter with a 24-7 lead.
- Ohio scored 17 points in the second quarter and led by as many as 16 points with 31 seconds left in the half.
- Ohio entered the half leading 41-25.
- Leading the Bobcats to intermission was Lampkins who had eight points, going 3-of-6 from the field, 0-2 from three-point range and 2-of-2 from the free throw line.
- Next was Kiyanna Black who had seven points, going 2-of-3 from the field, 2-of-3 from three-point range and 1-of-2 from the free throw line.
- Kelly Karlis and Tmisht Stinson also finished with seven first-half points.

- With a made Stinson jumper with 46 seconds left, Ohio would win 77-58.
- Leading Ohio was Lampkins who scored 16 points, going 6-of-11 from the field and 4-of-5 from the free throw line.
- Lampkins also led the team with five assists.
- Jasmine Weatherspoon finished the game with 12 points, going 6-of-8 from the field.
- Dominique finished the game with 11 points, going 4-of-5 from the field and 3-of-4 from the three-point line.
- Rounding out the double figure scoring was Stinson who score 11 points, going 5-of-6 from the field and 1-of-2 from the free throw line.
- Stinson also led the team in rebounds with seven.

- The win gave Ohio its third 24-win season.
- Gave Ohio four-straight wins over Miami for the first time since 1986-87.
- Ohio finished 16-2 in conference play, matching last season's record and giving Ohio its third 16-win conference record.
