The Short Story: Three players scored in double figures to help lead the Ohio women's basketball team (18-4, 10-1 MAC) to its 18th win Saturday (Feb. 6) afternoon, defeating Northern Illinois (9-12, 2-8 MAC), 95-70.

How It Happened:
- The Bobcats netted the first points of the game when Jasmine Weatherspoon scored an easy layup off a pass from Lampkins to ignite the Ohio offense.
- Ohio started off hot with three 3-point baskets within the first three minutes earning a 13-4 lead at 6:21.
- Ohio dominated the scoreboard and held a 30-8 lead at the end of the first quarter.
- The Huskies fought back at the start of the second quarter, scoring back-to-back baskets at 5:59.
- NIU’s effort on offense wasn’t enough to stop Ohio from taking the second quarter.
- Ohio led would lead the Huskies 52-23 at halftime.
- NIU could not find their way to the rim as Ohio had five blocks in the first half including two each from Jasmine Weatherspoon and Dominique Dosek.
- In the first half, Ohio shot 55.6% from the field and 35.3% from three-point range.
- Kiyanna Black led all scorers with 13 points in the first half, going 4-of-8 from the field and 3-of-6 from behind the arc. She also added three rebounds, one assist, and one block.
- Lampkins added 10 points going 4-of-10 from the field and 1-of-4 from behind the arc.
- The Huskies would find themselves in foul trouble at the end of the third quarter
- Yamonie Jenkins and Weatherspoon both added six points to the first half scoreboard.
- Ohio maintained their large lead over NIU throughout the third holding a 75-41 advantage heading into the fourth quarter.
- The Huskies could not cut the Bobcat lead to under double digits.
- Ohio would lead by as much as 38 points as that came at 6:52 in the fourth quarter.
- Ohio would win the game by the final of 95-70.
- Overall, Lampkins would lead the Bobcats in scoring, scoring 23 points
- Lampkins also grabbed seven rebounds and dishing seven assists and seven steals.
- Black went 6-of-12 from the field, 5-of-9 from three-point range and dished out one assist and had five rebounds.
- Kelly Karlis scored 13 points, going 4-of-6 from the field and 1-of-2 from beyond the arc. She also hit 4-of-6 free throws.
- Karlis also grabbed a team high eight rebounds.
- Yamonie Jenkins went 3-of-5 from the field adding six points in her nine minutes on the court.
- Lexie Baldwin scored seven points, and also added five rebounds and one block.
- Overall, Ohio shot 46.4% (32-of-69) from the field, 35.3% (12-34) from three-point range and 79.2% (19-of-24) from the charity stripe.
- The Bobcat defense forced 23 turnovers.
- Ohio had seven blocks, dished out 19 assists, 12 steals and turned the ball over 13 times.
- Mikayla Voigt who scored 16 points, going 7-of-16 from the field, 2-of-5 from three-point range, led the Huskies.
- Voigt also grabbed 10 rebounds
- Overall, NIU shot 40.9% (27-of-66) from the field, 39.1% (9-of-23) from three-point range and 63.6% (7-of-11) from the free throw line.
- NIU also dished out 17 assists and had eight steals.

- This is Ohio's 18th win of the season.
- Ohio is now 10-1 in MAC play.
- This is the 519th victory in program history.
- This is head coach Bob Boldon's 54th win at Ohio, placing him fourth all-time in program history in coaching wins.
