The Short Story: The Ohio women's basketball team (17-4, 9-1 MAC) had its 12-game winning streak snapped Wednesday night, falling to Buffalo (11-9, 3-6 MAC), 51-43.

How It Happened:
- The Bobcats opened the game with the first bucket from a layup from Hannah Boesinger.
- Buffalo took the lead at the 6:58 mark, going up 4-2.
- At the under five media timeout, the score was tied 4-4.
- Buffalo led by as much as five in the first quarter.
- The Bobcats would finish the frame trailing 12-8.
- Ohio would pull within two points early in the second quarter, when Quiera Lampkins connected on a layup, making the score 12-10.
- Ohio and Buffalo would trade baskets throughout the second quarter, with Ohio making it a one point game on a three pointer by Lexie Baldwin with a minute before the half.
- Buffalo would respond with a jumper and the Bobcats entered the half trailing 24-21.
