• The Bobcats came out of the gate strong, using a jumper and a layup by Campbell, a trey by redshirt junior forward Kenny Kaminski (Medina, Ohio) and a layup by Setty to race out to a 9-0 lead and force Bowling Green to burn a timeout with 17:45 left in the first half.

• The Falcons did not back down, though, as three dunks and a layup by Worrell helped Bowling Green take its first lead of the day at 57-56 with just under 10 minutes remaining. Campbell picked up his second and third fouls during the stretch, forcing him to go to the bench.
• Bowling Green held a four-point lead with 5:53 left at 66-62 after Parker knocked down a pair of free throws. • Unfortunately for Ohio, jumpers by Alcegaire and Parker and two made free throws by Worrell put the Falcons back up by five at 74-69 with 1:55 to go. Simmons made it a three-point game again when he made a layup seconds later, but Bowling Green sank nine free throws down the stretch -- including four by Lillard -- to secure the upset win.
