How It Happened:
- Junior guard Quiera Lampkins started things off for Ohio with a pair of layups to provide the Bobcats with a 4-2 lead at the 6:21 mark of the first quarter.
- After a basket at the 5:41 mark to tie the game at 4, the Bobcats held Miami scoreless until the RedHawks made a layup with three seconds left in the quarter.
- Lampkins led Ohio with nine points in the first quarter.
- Ohio held a 16-6 lead after the first quarter, racking up eight steals and forcing 12 Miami turnovers.
- After the RedHawks opened the second quarter with a triple, the Bobcats went on a 13-0 run to extend their lead to 29-9 with 7:12 left in the first half.
