The Short Story: Led by Kiyanna Black’s 38 points and a conference and program-tying 10 made three pointers, the Ohio women’s basketball team (19-4, 11-1 MAC) defeated Mid-American Conference West foe Toledo (13-10, 8-4 MAC), 77-57, Saturday afternoon inside Savage Arena.

How It Happened:
- The Bobcats struck first, taking an early 3-0 lead seconds into the game when Kiyanna Black drained her first three of the night. Toledo took a 5-3 lead at the 8:59 mark in the first quarter.
- Ohio would retake that lead seconds later off of a three-pointer by Lexie Baldwin, giving Ohio a 6-5 lead.
- Toledo would tie the game at 6-6 at the 7:27 mark, and that was the last time Toledo would tie or threaten to take the lead the rest of the game.
- Ohio would finish the first quarter leadings 20-13.
- Ohio would go on a 15-2 run over 4 minutes and 22 seconds starting at the 6:12 mark in the second quarter.
- Ohio would lead by as many as 19 points at the 36 second mark in the second quarter.

Ohio returns home for some Mid-Week play when they host MAC East foe Miami on Wednesday, Feb. 17. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. inside the Convocation Center. The game will serve as the Bobcats’ Pink Game.
