The Short Story: Four players scored in double figures to help lead the Ohio women's basketball team (16-3, 8-0 MAC) to its 11th-straight win Wednesday (Jan. 27) night, defeating Akron (10-9, 4-3 MAC), 75-55.

How It Happened:
- The Bobcats netted the first points of the game when Yamonie Jenkins knocked down a three from the top of the key to make it 3-0 Ohio.
- After Akron tied the game at 3-3 at the 7:16 mark, Ohio would go on an 8-0 run to take an 11-3 lead with 5:07 left in the first quarter.
-
The Zips would threaten to take the lead, but only came as close as down three 11-8 with 3:10 left in the first quarter.
- Ohio held a 17-12 lead after the first quarter.
- The Bobcats showcased their stingy defense in the second quarter only giving up seven points to the Zips.
- Ohio would take in a 39-19 lead into the halftime break aided by a 17-0 run in the second frame.
- Jenkins would spark the run with a three with 6:51 remaining in the first half. Akron would not score again until there was 1:35 left before half.
- Akron could not find their way to the rim as Ohio had seven blocks in the first half including two each from Lexie Baldwin and Jasmine Weatherspoon.
- In the first half, Kelly Karlis led Ohio with 11 points, going 4-of-5 from the field, 3-of-4 from three-point range while also having a team-high six rebounds.
- Kiyanna Black added 10 points, going 3-of-9 from the field and 2-of-5 from behind the arc.
- Jenkins also had eight points with two assists.
- In the first half, Ohio shot 40.6% from the field and 38.1% from three-point range. 
- Ohio maintained their large lead over Akron throughout the third holding a 53-36 advantage heading into the fourth quarter.
- The Zips could not cut the Bobcat lead to under double digits as Akron only came as close as down 14 in the fourth quarter.
- Ohio would lead by as much as 25 points as that came with 2:01 left in the second quarter. 
- Ohio would win the game by the final of 75-55.
- Overall, Black would lead the Bobcats in scoring, scoring 15 points and grabbing two rebounds. 
- Baldwin went 5-of-13 from the field, 3-of-8 from three-point range and dished out one assist and had one steals. 
- Lampkins scored 13 points, going 4-of-16 from the field and 2-of-7 from beyond the arc. She also hit 3-of-5 free throws. 
- Lampkins also had three assists and three steals. 
- Karlis scored 11 points, going 4-of-6 form the field and 3-of-4 from three-point range. She also added nine rebounds and three blocks.
- Jenkins rounded out the double figure scoring, adding 10 points while going 4-of-6 from the field, 2-of-3 from three point range. 
- Jenkins also dished out three assists. 
- Weatherspoon grabbed a team-high 10 boards, had six blocks, had three assists and snagged one steal.
- Overall, Ohio shot 39.7% (25-of-63) from the field, 37.8% (14-37) from three-point range and 52.4% (11-of-21) from the charity stripe. 
- The Bobcat defense forced 21 turnovers and scored 14 points off of the turnovers. 
- Ohio had 14 blocks, dished out 15 assists, six steals and turned the ball over 22 times. 
- The Zips were led by Anita Brown who scored 16 points, going 7-of-22 from the field, 2-of-3 from three-point range.
- DiAndra Gibson grabbed 10 rebounds and scored 13 points for Akron. 
- Overall, Akron shot 27.4% (20-of-73) from the field, 25.0% (7-of-28) from three-point range and 72.7% (8-of-11) from the free throw line.
