QUOTABLE:
"Tonight is wasn't necessary guarding a star player, but it was playing within the framework of our defense. She had six steals and was a presence at that end of the floor. As she matures that's our goal, to try and make all of our players the best they can be come graduation. I think over the last two and a half years her offense has been significantly ahead of her defense. I think her defense is starting to catch up. Obviously what she did offensively tonight was spectacular, but I'm sure what she did on the defensive end had a lot to do with us winning." - Head coach Bob Boldon on Quiera Lampkins' performance

"She was tremendous and what a touch thing to do for a freshman. She came in after watching us miss our first 12 shots and took one with a lot of confidence and it went in. She's a kid who has worked hard and minutes had come and gone. Especially when you're playing behind Lampkins and Black, it's hard to take those two off the floor. She's had games where she's played maybe one or two minutes and tonight she comes in and played 15 for us and played a little bit of back up point guard. That speaks a lot to her maturity and to do that as a freshman is pretty impressive." Head coach Bob Boldon on Dominque Doseck's performance

"I've never gotten 30 points before. I've always tried but when I'd hit 27 I'd be done. It feels good to be able to make shots, because in the first quarter I was struggling so it felt good to see the ball go in." - Quiera Lampkins on scoring 33 points.
