QUOTABLE
"That's all credit to the team. They put themselves in the right frame of mind right from the start. We started quickly. To score an early goal like that and set ourselves on the right track was a perfect start." - 11th-year head coach Neil Macmillan

"Lina was definitely well-composed back there and responded well. The defense did a great job in front of her. Her main role was an organizational one, but she still made a number of key saves." - Macmillan

"The first goal was Clarissa on a straight strike off of a corner. It was well-executed. She buried it top of the boards on the left side. The second goal was a great feed from Maria and a really controlled shot from Hannah off a little bit of a bouncing ball. The other one was Hannah setting Maria up the same way. A good, solid finish by Maria." - Macmillan

"We played really high-tempo, high-energy at the start of the second half, and it led to two good goals. When they scored, we responded really, really well. We were just a really, really good offensive team today." - Macmillan

"After we went down to William & Mary (on Friday), we realized our mistakes. We did an exercise on what fired us up and got us going for a game, and we used that and each other to make sure that, even if we did go down today, we came back and stayed in the play and didn't just give up on the ball." - Junior Hannah Kingsbury

"We tried today to be a lot more aggressive and just take a shot if we had one. We played a game yesterday in practice called 'death ball', where they just throw the balls in and you're kind of going crazy and you just hit the ball as hard as you can at the cage. That was our goal today As soon as we got the ball, we were just putting it on the keeper and hoping to get something that goes in the back of the net." - Kingsbury

"We've really been focusing on we're in the circle, our sticks are down, we're low and we're hungry. It's all about finding that hunger to get the ball and to finish. Another big part of that we've been working on is our forward pressing and making sure that we're the first line of defense and that we're coming up with the ball more often on the forward line so that we can really go forward and get some options up in their 25." -  Kingsbury
