QUOTABLE
Head Coach Bob Boldon:
"Obviously it's exciting. I know you hear the same clichés this time of year and you do because it's hard to put this experience into words. I couldn't be happier for these young ladies that are sitting next to me, the ones that are in the locker room celebrating right now. It's a culmination of a lot of work and I think hard work defines who they are and I'm proud of them."

Senior guard Mariah Byard:
"Everyone put in the work this summer. Everyone was in the gym and that made me want to be in the gym and vice versa. Coach told us the hard work would pay off and we kind of just trusted him, trusted the coaching staff on what they could do, using their knowledge, and worked."

Junior guard Kiyanna Black:
"I just kept on shooting. The difference from the first half to the second half was in the second half, (shots) decided to go in. Once the first one went in, I just kept on shooting and they kept on going in. That's the best feeling."

Sophomore guard Quiera Lampkins:
"I think the difference from last year is we really didn't buy into what coach was saying. This year, we listened and got down to business. But it's just a huge difference when you're listening to your coach and buying in to exactly what he's saying."
