QUOTABLE
“Obviously we’re not very happy with the ending. I thought our kids played hard and showed a lot of character when you get off to the type of start that we did, but they kept their composure and they battled back With nine seconds left we didn’t panic. There was a time when KB would have just hoisted that up and she didn’t and she made a basketball play. Kiki got a good look and I’m happy with that. Wish it would have went in, but I thought both players did a nice job with that play.†â€" Head coach Bob Boldon on the game overall.
“They both played a nice game and I thought their effort and their teammate’s effort was good enough. There were just some miscues. That’s why we play these games in November, so we can fix some things before we take the floor again next week. Vanderbilt was able to exploit some of our weaknesses and that was good for us to get on tape. I’m anxious to get back to practice on Monday to see if we can fix some of these weaknesses.†â€" Head coach Bob Boldon on Kiyanna Black and Quiera Lampkins.
