QUOTABLE
“It was great to see us hang in there. Our third and fourth quarter defense were the best numbers of the game. We have not been able to do that before so that was very encouraging.” â€" Head coach Bob Boldon on the defense.

“This is a team that is kind of a work in progress and it’s nice to see us take steps forward. Obviously defense has been a big emphasis, but on a night you don’t shoot it very well, those offensive rebounds really helped out.” â€" Head coach Bob Boldon on the offensive rebounding

“It’s very encouraging. You look for improvement in every game you play. You can’t help but think about that Illinois game where we weren’t able to do that, so to see us come back two weeks later and be able to do that, it’s encouraging.” â€" Head coach Bob Boldon on coming back after trailing late.
