QUOTES â€" Head Coach Joel Greenlee
On Today's Scrimmage:
"The point of it for me is to make weight, get in there and wrestle, and eat right. It's a trial run. If you make any mistakes, you can get them out of the way this weekend before Eastern Michigan. I just think it's good for them to get in a singlet and wrestle in front of a crowd."
On Weight Classes He Had His Eye On Today:
"I thought 125 was huge. We have three pretty good guys there. You watch them wrestle in the room and it's back and forth between the three of them."
On Heading Into EMU:
"I think we are pretty good. Obviously it's not March and we aren't where we need to be but I think we are in good shape. I would like to see us be more aggressive than we currently are but we are getting there."
On Finding Starters at 125 and 133:
“Cam Kelly and Shakur Laney, we arent going to redshirt either one of those guys. We need a couple of guys to manage those weights I believe. Cam will be one of them at 133 with Kevon Powell being the either. At 125, Laney will be in the mix, Hayden Lee will be in the mix and Disaboto will be too."
Ohio opens the regular season at the EMU Duals Nov. 7 where they will face off against Edinboro and Michigan State.
