QUOTABLE
"We played a great game today. I think it was really good to bookend the first half with a goal right at the start and a goal right at the end. We really controlled the tempo and the pace that first half. Second half, Central Michigan did a good job putting pressure on us and controlled a bit more of the game than we would have liked. We still had our opportunities, and, unfortunately, didn't add to our first-half lead. It's good to start off MAC season with a win." - 11th-year head coach Neil Macmillan on the win

UP NEXT
Ohio takes on Rutgers on Sunday (Oct. 4) in a neutral-site match at Michigan State's Ralph Young Field in East Lansing, Mich. The contest is slated to get underway at 2:30 p.m. ET.
