HOW IT HAPPENED
- Ohio and Buffalo opened the contest tied at six, but Bull broke the tie with a kill over the middle. The Bobcats broke the set open afterward, going on a 8-4 run, forcing Buffalo to take a timeout. Olman aced the Bulls twice to put the Bobcats at set point, and an attack error by Buffalo gave Ohio the set.
- The second set saw Ohio up 6-4, but the Bobcats broke the set open with a 14-0 run highlighted by Kosiorek’s eight aces. The Green and White never looked back, and closed the set 25-13.
- With a 4-2 lead, Ohio jumped on a 4-0 run sparked by kills from Gilleland and Bull to quickly go up 8-2 on the Bulls. From there, Ohio kept Buffalo distant and took their largest lead of the set 20-10 on a kill from Bull. Hord’s two aces led the Bobcats to a sweep.
